Report Writer

 

Microsoft Dynamics GP reports are written using the Report Writer Tool, which comes as a component of the System Manager. The Report Writer Course is designed to introduce you to creating and modifying reports using the Microsoft Dynamics GP Report Writer.

The class starts off with a bit of theory (and some practical advice) about the tables and the file structures of the Microsoft Dynamics GP database. It then covers creating a simple report, demonstrating several features including: adding, and formatting fields and text; report section options; and sorting. The class ends by touching on some more advanced topics such as creating calculated fields, conditional expressions, setting restrictions, and using multiple tables on the same report.   

 

The Microsoft Dynamics GP Report Writer course is a full day session.
